With lots of greenery, shady trees and a barbecue area, the outdoor area offers a high quality of stay for the fire brigade and the German Red Cross. It is also connected to the cycle path and the leisure facilities provided there. The amount of sealed surfaces is reduced to a minimum. Due to the high absorption and storage capacity of the retention areas, the effect of a "sponge city" is created. Retention boxes are installed on the roofs to slow down the evaporation of rainwater.
